How Angila works
What makes Angila different from other dating apps?
Three things: faces stay blurred until you both like each other, there's no chat function, and matching is powered by a smart compatibility engine (with human matchmakers available). It's built to get you to a real date, not a never-ending text thread.
Why can I only swipe 5 times a day?
Scarcity brings intention. Five carefully AI-ranked people a day encourages you to consider each person properly instead of mindlessly swiping.
There's really no messaging?
Correct. Instead of chatting, when there's mutual interest you arrange a real date — pick a place and time, share your outfit of the day, and meet. Chemistry is best judged in person.
Account verification
How do I create an account?
Register with your email and a strong password, then use the verification link sent to your inbox before creating your dating profile.
Do you support Singpass verification?
Not yet. Singpass Myinfo integration requires an approved government relying-party account. We will clearly announce it if this verification option is added later.
Privacy & safety
Who can see my face?
Nobody, until you match. Your face and body photos are blurred to everyone in Discover. They only reveal to a person once you've both liked each other.
How do you keep the community safe?
Verified email accounts, a mandatory post-date feedback questionnaire, and manual review of every payment. Feedback that flags concerns is reviewed by our team.
Payments & pricing
What does it cost?
Browsing and matching are free. A single AI-matched date is S$80, three dates are S$200. Prefer a human touch? Manual matchmaking is S$500–S$1,000.
How do I pay?
Choose a plan and scan our PayNow QR with any Singapore banking app. After the transfer succeeds, use the WhatsApp confirmation button so our team can verify payment and contact you for onboarding.
What are date credits?
Each approved payment gives you credits. One credit lets you arrange one date with any of your matches.
Dates & feedback
How do we recognise each other?
Once a date is booked, you exchange OOTD (outfit of the day) photos so there's no awkward hovering at the entrance.
What happens after a date?
You'll fill in a short private questionnaire — did they show up, were they punctual, was their profile accurate, and would you meet again. It keeps Angila honest and helps us improve your matches.
